One of the best finds of the year! Named after Richard Tarlton who was a court jester to Queen Elizabeth1. Dark black in color with a nose of mocha, fruit, euculyptis and leather. A great mouthful of dark fruit, jam, mocha and licorice with a solid peppery spice finish. A great wine at any price and at this price an outstanding buy!
A fine nose of oak, tobacco and mocha greet you and lead to a mouthful of plum, dark fruit and cocoa flavours. A long dry finish. Very good. A tribute to Luis Felipe Edwards’ wife from handpicked grapes blended from the outstanding grapes of each vintage then aged 18 months in French oak.
Light honey colored with flowers, fruit and grapefruit nose. Spicy grapefruit taste. A great wine chilled. It would be good as an apperatif or with white fish dishes. This wine is made in the Danube Valley. Gruner Veltliner is the number one grape varietal produced in Austria. A good table wine.
Translucent pinky red in color with plum, fresh fruit and mild floral aroma. Creamy palate of cherries, licorice and black tea. Nice finish. Not a bad New Zealand Pinot.
Medium in color and body, this wine has a tannic smell with notes of oak and currants. Acidic in taste with fruit and mocha overtones. Plush furry finish. Needs to mellow with decanting.
Dark red color with hints of cedar, blackberry and blueberry. Full plush mouth of fruit with a long soft finish. A very french style syrah unlike most peppery Australian.
